I lived there in the late 70'S I cant believe they closed it down. I have so many good memories there. I was a young military wife at the time. Wow time goes by
Any chance of getting any photos of Ayers Kaserne (Kirch-Goens) or Schloss Kaserne (Butzbach)? I was stationed there from `86-`88.

I was stationed there 1971 and part of 1972 39th finance section as reinlistments/separtions clerk. Danny Grant
I lived here in the mid 80's. Some of the greatest times of my life! Really miss that place!
I lived there from 1998-2001. Just went back last week and most of the buildings are now green and yellow, and now have balconies. Very happy and sad at the same time!
I lived in the family housing area giessen Germany in the early 1960s shame to see it all leave now did the housing areas still exist or was it torn down
