I lived there from 1998-2001. Just went back last week and most of the buildings are now green and yellow, and now have balconies. Very happy and sad at the same time!
I lived in the family housing area giessen Germany in the early 1960s shame to see it all leave now did the housing areas still exist or was it torn down

DeleteAny chance of getting any photos of Ayers Kaserne (Kirch-Goens) or Schloss Kaserne (Butzbach)? I was stationed there from `86-`88.
